I’m so excited that my new facebook page for Milton Gan Photography gathered the support of over 100 fans in its launch week!

To celebrate this first milestone I’ve launched a special promotion for fans: the 10x1o Sushi Sessions! This imaginatively titled promo provides easy access to the world of professional portrait photography through 1 hour bit-sized sessions for just $100 each! There are 10 sessions up for grabs and each session will deliver 10 professional shot and edited images. What a bargain huh?!

I’m hoping that this taster promo will make professional photography more appealing and accessible to those who had previously not considered buying any, and also grow my supporter base.

No, I’m still not writing about the bubs yet!

But I would like to announce the arrival of two new additions to my photographic life:

1 – Milton Gan Photography has launched on facebook! It’s going to be a major outlet for promoting my life stage work so if you like my photos or would like to book me for a session then take a look and leave a comment! You can visit and like Milton Gan Photography here! This page features my new social media logo, created by the very talented Lauren Jennings. The full scale logo will soon be making its debut on my new website once it’s completed.

2 – Today I became the proud owner of an iPhone 4!  This will mark a major change for my Project 365 as the lo-fi randomness of the iPhone 3G’s 1mp camera has now been upgraded to 5mp luxury! I’m still to try out my Best Camera and TiltShift Generator apps on these photos but hopefully they’re compatible and will continue to produce little daily delights for you!

Right I’m off to have a play!

Location: Coffee Bean Cafe, Bali International Airport.

This is the first chance I’ve had to write a post for a while so I do apologise. The last few weeks have been pretty hectic, but all photography related which is a good sign for me as it means my business is taking off (excuse the pun)!

The main thing that’s been keeping me busy is babies (that means taking photos of them before you get any funny ideas!). I’m not sure what happened 9 months ago but there are loads of babies being born right now. Woodstock II perhaps? Or maybe it just seems that way as my attention has recently been on newborn shoots. I’ve “worked” with three two-week old girls in the last month. All of them beautiful, cute and more than capable of keeping Huggies in business for the foreseeable future! I’ll be writing up a post on my experiences with bubs (promise!) but in the meantime some of the shots from these sessions are on my Project 365 July pages so check them out!

As you might have guessed I’m on my way home from Bali (the red eye flight that means not much sleep and heading straight to work on a Monday morning!). But I needed a break. And to take photos of course! Bali did the trick and I now feel recharged and ready to build my brand and my business further, which means more shoots and more blog posts on my adventures!

Stay tuned!
