19th Jan: I’m becoming something of a resident photographer at OMD having already covered several agency sports events and the Christmas party. Today I was shooting our impressive haul of trophies from 2009. And when I say impressive I mean it. Amongst the collection are two Cannes Lions and four B&T awards. That may not mean much to you but to put it into context, the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival is generally regarded as the most prestigious advertising awards event in the world, while B&T magazine is Australia’s leading trade title for advertising, media, marketing and PR. Furthermore, those four B&T awards were for some awesome categories. Read: Employer of the Year, Media Agency of the Year, Media Agency of the Decade, and the Grand Prix for best advertising campaign of the year. Not bad eh? Certainly sets the bar high for 2010!
